My knee jerk gut reaction about Boner's walk-away.
I think he's in over his head, can't herd his crazy cats, and has no fucking clue what to do.

I would not be surprised to see him cede power to someone else. Not step down, necessarily, but somehow leave this to someone else.

Now would be a good time for him to blend his drinking problem with pill popping.
That is if he hasn't already followed El Rushbo to the ol' medicine chest.

3. I tend to think these @ssholes are afraid to pull another coup

as they did with the bailout. They've all seen the riots in Greece. They don't want to get shot but only a little bit more than they want to try it.

4. I agree. He's no leader.
He's cowardly and tries to hide it with bluster.

10. In all seriousness, yes.
He's the true Speaker. I'll bet he's squarely responsible for this latest piece of Republican assholery.

6. You know, people complain about us here at DU bickering...I think we're nothing compared
to the teabagging section vs the wall street section of the Repukes.

8. Ironically it was Wall Street that helped create the Teabagg section.
It's their Frankenstein monster. Let them own it.

14. And I think the Teabaggers are crazy, ignorant ideologues
who actually want the default. Boner is getting pulled in two different directions and he has lost control of the nuthouse.

7. And the President
just called him on not returning his call.

What a shameful piece of work he is. He is so frightened of Cantor and his minions, he has totally shut down.

13. The Turtle-man seem to be that someone else. Someone has to step up
in the party of darkness. If no one steps up Obama should evoke his powers to prevent a government shutdown.

18. I think you're right.
Rachel has said, for some time, that he can't do his job competently, and its become more and more clear lately that she's right. But, to be fair, them cats are crazier than any others, so its certainly not an easy job.
