(Bryan Stow) Giants fan's beating case takes turn - new arrests

Los Angeles -- Two new suspects were arrested Wednesday in the beating of San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow outside Dodger Stadium, and the original suspect may be exonerated, a law enforcement official said.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is continuing, said that if the district attorney's office files a case against the men, the man previously identified as the suspect, Giovanni Ramirez, would be cleared.

The arrest marks a dramatic turn in the case. Since Ramirez was arrested May 22, police have consistently said they believed they had their man.

One of Ramirez's attorneys, Jose Romero, suggested the defense team unearthed important evidence in the case.

1. Prosecutors never charged the first suspect and held him on a parole violation
I didn't know that. I remember them saying that was Ramirez, but they never charged him? :wtf:

They've got to stop emotional reactions to cases.
