I am starting to think Obama is gullible as hell!
I know we do not know the details, so this post is purely speculative.

But if we do cuts in SS and Medicare without a GUARANTEED tax increase on the rich, then it proves that President Obama is gullible as hell when it comes to negotiating.

If the stories are true about "discussing" revenue increases in 2012, but nothing is in place to implement them in the bill, then it is just another opportunity for the GOP to hold us hostage once again in 2012.

I really honestly think there is NO WAY Obama will give cuts in SS and Medicare without a guaranteed tax increase on the rich. I just cannot fathom him falling for that deal. So I hope the rumors are wrong.

But if he did, then he has proven that he is not the negotiator I thought I was voting for.

2. Gullible? Falling for that deal?
Methinks the charge of gullibility is being pointed in the wrong direction, if I may be so bold.

5. I feel the same way. I can't conceive of Obama
giving away the store. If SS and Medicare are damaged in any way during this mess even seniors in wheel chairs will be storming the citadel. I keep in mind our media. All we get from them is he said, he said. I do feel they are biased towards Republicans and they will form their accounts with that in mind, but it keeps us actually uninformed. I am being kept alive by SS and Medicare.

6. I think either he's a closet Repukelican, or not too bright...
His strategy fucks over the dems and will do nothing to help his re-election or the economy.

8. You should take a chunk of time and think about it: Is he really gullible or...
...are these things just agreeable to him?

9. Either that or his thinking never has been with progressivism
in its traditional sense. I trend to think in this direction.

11. 'gullible' is insulting to the President. 'He is who he is' may be our new reality.
he doesn't need us to make excuses for him.
