The difference
The difference between 'us' and 'them' becomes more clear each day.

They care about what they might be able to have or achieve.

We care about we can do for each other and what we can achieve together and for ourselves as well.

They care only about the individual. We care about the individual and everyone else as well.

We follow a path closer to the quote from A beautiful mind "Do what is best for yourself, and the group for the best result" whereas they follow the ideal of do what is best for yourself.

We see ourselves as a team, working together, knowing some will do better and maybe make more - but as a team we can all win.

They see themselves as then end all and be all, and there is no team.

We want to share rewards, and lift up the whole group.

They want to hoard the rewards for themselves.

They put the "I" in team.

They want only for themselves. We want for ourselves and others.

We see the poor as a problem for which we want a solution, they see the poor as the problem.

We support the troops by wanting them to come home and be at peace, they see the troops as a means to their own selfish ends.

They try to tell us we all, as well as those elsewhere, are the enemy - we try to tell them we are in it all together and that fear of each other is what leads to a great many problems.

They live in fear, while we want to live in peace.

They are the ones who created cold wars and such - where the leadership worked to get us all to hate/fear others - while we the people we all just wanting peace. We did not hate the Russians. We didn't want to kill people in Vietnam. We didn't want a war in Korea. We didn't want to see our kids, or those of others, die in Iraq or Afghanistan.

There always needs to be an enemy to them - to us there is always an enemy, but it is not each other but poverty, sickness, etc.

The difference between us and them - is how we see the world, the people in it, and how we want to solve those problems.

Theirs is by war and force - but most people in history have not wanted those things, has hated them, and been beaten down by them.

The difference is - we want solutions to benefit us all, and they want war and power.

The difference is - we want to change history and stop the hate, the wars, the failed policies we have seen since time began. And they want to keep doing the same thing over and over and hoping that this time the result will be different.

The difference is - they are crazy.
