3. No idea, but Dave Ramsey teaches people how to get out of debt

and live within their means. I know someone who followed his advice and got his family out of some crippling debt in a matter of 6 years. Thats how I heard of him.

4. He has some good ideas

Nothing wrong with getting out of debt. DH and I did it years ago. Don't know how we'd survive in this economy if we had a lot of debt.

5. This Guy Confuses Me

He seems to have some pretty good advice as far as getting yourself out of debt and managing your money and so forth. And as far as I'm concerned, sound financial advice HAS no political slant; it's something that everyone should be able to agree upon.

However.............

He also seems to be worshipped by a lot of right-wing toolboxes I know, which makes me wonder about him. Why do right-wingers bow at his feet the same way they do with Limbaugh and Beck? That right there gives me sufficient cause to be wary of him.

Does anybody know why right-wingers are so drawn to his message?

6. DR has a LOT of good ideas, but he's also a RW religious type, though

to his credit he never froths at the mouth about non-christians.

7. RWers are especially drawn to him because he promotes tithing and

does some soft-peddle proselytizing of fundie christianity on his show.
