Just served on my first criminal jury.
Jury duty is all done, it was NOT a typical or easy. When your bound by the judge's instructions, you sometimes reach decisions you are not happy with. Is this case, 12 people could not agree.

Many may disagree, but the bottom line is that it comes down 12 people.

2. Thank you

I'm sorry you could not all agree, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

The independent perspectives of 12 people are what it all comes down to.

3. and the jury has the right to judge the law as well as the facts of the case.
No one will tell you that in a courthouse, and you would be arrested if you pass out a pamphlet advising jurors of that right allowed under the Constitution.

The principle is jury nullification. http://www.fija.org
