The Republican'ts are blaming the Bush tax cut extension on Obama
They're a "problem" now, and it's ALL Obama's fault.

If the extension was going to be such a problem, why were they bitching that they wanted them permanent?

What a bunch of lying fucks.

No need to wait for 2012- let's do it now.

3. I'm sure they'll think of some reason you can't just repeal them for the rich.

5. No, no, we can't do that.
We're forced in the "Obama's" two year extension agreement

Republican hands are tied.

9. How surprising!
And they promised to take all the blame if he was just bipartisan enough! Who could have ever imagined that Republicans would be deceptive towards a Democratic President? It is unheard of!

10. Who could have predicted that?
But I'm sure Mr 12 Dimensional Chess has a move up his sleeve to counter it.

WTF? Did he possibly think they WOULDN'T blame him?

12. They're right.
He agreed to extend them.

Obama is a bad president, and he's going to gut social security now as well.

14. So what blame can be assigned to the Republicans?
Or are they blameless in this matter?

15. They're bad too.
But they asked for something when they had no chambers of congress, and no presidency, and he gave it to them.

So the real question is, are they some sort of super evil geniuses and Obama is a bad negotiator, or did he want to extend the tax cuts to anyways?

17. So you're proposing that Obama really wanted tax cuts for the rich?
Edited on Thu Jul-21-11 07:00 PM by MrScorpio
That they're really HIS idea?

The GOP wanted the tax cuts permanent, but only got a two year extension… And that was in exchange for extending federal unemployment insurance and cutting the payroll tax by $120 billion for one year. It doesn't sound like they got everything they wanted.

Why does that make him such a bad negotiator?

18. Yes, he wanted tax cuts for the rich
Or else they would not have been in the bill, because Republicans had no houses of Congress and he could have pushed through the unemployment insurance on his own.

He's a great negotiator, he gets exactly what he wants all the while convincing Democrats like you that he's really acting in your interests while the dagger twists in your back.

19. I was wondering when the insults were going to start...
Along with accusing Obama of being some kind of modern day Dr. Evil.

Surely, you can't be serious. Because no serious person would make an argument so ludicrously asinine as yours.

Just to remind you, the President is not some kind of dictator that gets anything that he wants. To SAY something as you just have means that either you're not paying attention, or you're intentionally trying to sow discord while throwing me a milk bone because I backed you in the corner about the fucking Republicans.

Either way, I can see what you're up to.

16. They're playing political games in order to get cover for agreeing
to rescind them in the "big debt deal." Just a hunch of course. ;)
