Just two of 49 other governors have accepted Rick Perry’s Panderpalooza invitation
Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback and Lousiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, both were delighted for the chance to pander to the Religious Right's funds and votes. Five others send their support but find they are busy that day.

When Perry, the chair of the Republican Governors Association, sent his invitation to his 49 colleagues, he described the importance of the event in biblical terms.

“Given the trials that beset our nation and world, from the global economic downturn to natural disasters, the lingering danger of terrorism and continued debasement of our culture, I believe it is time to convene the leaders from each of our United States in a day of prayer and fasting, like that described in the book of Joel,” the governor said at the time.

Most of Perry’s former governors have declined his invitation, although several have proclaimed days of prayer in their own states this year. Others say that their offices have not gotten to August planning yet.

Could it be Perry isn't the Republican leader he considers himself to be? Or, are the other Republican governors in Religious Right ruled states just waiting to see which way the wind blows?

1. I predict that Perry will go into isolation to pray about this.
And then he will come out and say that he "has heard from gawd."

LoL

3. Grrrr Jindal
The Rhodes committee needs to take his scholar title away retroactively for being opposed to education and reason.

4. They MUST first ACCEPT Jesus as their Lord and Savior
Only then will their invitations become valid.

Salvation before invitation. Then comes the tithe.
