France's First Lady Doesn't Know Baby's Gender.
Source: nyt/ap

SOOOO FUNNY that this is NEWS, so had to share.

Asked to confirm rumors it's a boy, she told Friday's Nice Matin daily, "I don't even know myself. There are things that are better kept secret."

1. Front page News!
I hope the baby's ok, but I can't celebrate another Sarokozy coming into this world. Maybe if the baby takes the place of the father and the father agrees to leave.

4. Good for her. We didn't see the point in checking - what popped out is what we got.

5. My two daughters didn't want to know ahead of time either.
I, on the other hand, was a real pain in the butt about it because I was dying to know. I told them that if I had had the opportunity to find out when I was pregnant with them, I would have done so in a heartbeat. So much easier to make all those plans...

7. My wife and I didn't want to know in advance what either of our children were.
We were as surprised and thrilled with two beautiful sons as we would have been with daughters.
