Well the deal is now set..
They will end up passing Mitch McConnell's plan or something very close.. BUT the interesting part will be what ( if anything ) will the democrats make the republicans pay to pull their nuts out of the fire?.. The republicans will want to get this thru the house with as few republicans as possible having to vote for it.. Many democrats will not want to vote for it unless a certain number of republicans do.. Soo I image THATS what the leaders will be negotiating over the next few days..

2. I would imagine the Dems in the Senate who are up in 2012 will vote no, too.
However, if the Repukes would agree to a sizeable chunk of infrastructure spending, or some other jobs bill, that could change the equation.
