Rumsfeld Gets his Junk Checked by TSA at O'Hare
Edited on Thu Jul-14-11 03:28 PM by Ichingcarpenter
Not even the former U.S. Secretary of Defense gets a pass when it comes to pat-downs at O'Hare International Airport.
Donald Rumsfeld was seen by TMZ being stopped Wednesday afternoon by TSA during a flight through Chicago.

TSA released him after the pat-down, and he continued on his journey without incident.

1. So, they abuse and harass innocent travellers and they let
a real terrorist and war criminal go without arresting him?

Just confirms the waste of money our so-called 'security' system is.

7. No fan of Rums, but this is on TSA
I totally agree that Rumsfeld is one evil bastard, but: How freakin' stupid is it for the TSA to pull this guy over for a random?
This just completely nails home the point that the TSA policy has absolutely nothing to do with "keeping us safe".
How is singling out Donald Rumsfeld "keeping us safe" - without the obvious jokes.
Just as how is singling out the hundreds, if not thousands, of average Americans who go through this travesty everyday "keeping us safe"??
The entire thing is ridiculous and intolerable.

10. The TSA has NEVER been about "Keeping Us Safe"
It's always been about "Security theater" and giving the impression of safety. Hence the shoe carnival, the liquids and snow globe ban, the diaper inspections.

"See, we're doing stuff! We even stopped Donald Rumsfeld out of an abundance of caution for an administratively sanctioned search! Who cares that we violate the 4th and 1st Amendments on a daily basis. The Constitution's just a piece of paper anyway. Don't you know 9-11 changed everything? Terror, Terror, Terror!"

8. next meme. "See even the former Sec of Def has to go through this"
which of course is a made up version of some bullshit that's supposed to make us feel safer now that we lost to the terrorists.

Would or could a strip search of caribou barbie be next? Maybe they'll roll out st ronnie and he'll take one for the gipper.

gaud, sometimes I just quack my self up.
