So last week the price of gas here in Austin was $3.35...
this morning: $3.49.

14 cent jump in a week.

Anyone else notice this?

1. Yes but, here in DC area, was $3.55 (in some places,) up to 3.6?
Haven't checked in couple days. 'Cheap' gas in Austin, eh???

6. Still Hovering Near $4 A Gallon Near Chicago...
The prices have been higher here than across the country and surely are having a major impact on the economy. Guess we're being punished by the oil companies for being Obama's home state...

I noticed it when I subtracted 10 cents in my head and the gift card price was the same as the listed price last week...

It never really dropped. The stores call it "profit taking". I have another term for it.
