I've been reading and reading and reading... I've collected some of the main pieces of information to share with you all...
The BBC is reporting that Tom Crone--News International's legal manager, has left the company. (My words: the legal rats have been fleeing the sinking ship, eh?)
The New York Times' recent story is giving the British a chuckle. It IS a little bit dirty. "Connections to Murdoch Start to Chafe British Leader"
Murdoch has pulled his bid for BSkyB. That move just cost News Corp over $30 million in fees for pulling out. (And a big blow for Murdoch personally. His goal was to own the media and the government of Britain. He is quickly losing his grasp on both.
The Telegraph has put up a list of articles that News of the World has run in the past ten years that included mentions of emails and voice messages. NOTW wanted to make sure it didn't sound like they were making things up so they referenced where the information came from. Now they may have to show how they got access to the voice mails and emails.

http://www.adweek.com/news/press/rockefeller-asks-feds-investigate-us-impact-murdochgate-133365Gordon Brown gave quite the speech to Parliament today. Here is an article that covers the best of it:
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/gordon-brown-condemns-ni-lawbreakers-2313087.htmlBoris Johnson, Mayor of London is now pulled into the mess. He's known about phone hacking since 2006--he was a victim but he didn't want to get into it...(my words: perhaps because Murdoch has either blackmailed him or Johnson is afraid that News Corp will release the information they have on him. Johnson has been talked as a potential Parliament member or Prime Minister in the past. It is doubtful that people will trust him now and his political career could be badly damaged.) BBC :
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-14146974This was said in Parliament today: 18.30: Chris Bryant MP says "parliament has been lied to time and time again" and alleges that News Corp is not "fit and proper" in its present holding of BSkyB.
http://www.channel4.com/news/live-blog-d-day-for-rupert-murdochs-british-empireThe scary part: The free press is going to be a thing of the past...they failed to police themselves. Call in Parliament today for the investigation to cover private investigators, investigation of the press, of news corp and of Murdoch/News Corp's fitness to own broadcasting in England.
I wish the queen would just banish News Corp from the United Kingdom...but then we are stuck with him.
