3. Whoa! Hold Up! I'm none of those things but there is no such thing as a "proper" lightbulb.

Any light bulb that produces light is proper.

And CFLS are worse the Incandescent, thanks to the mercury in them, electric drivers and plastic casing.

The best lightbulb to use is Halogens as they are 40% better then regular bulbs with none of the stupid side effects of CFLs.

Why should I have to use CFLs when they cause me serious problems with migraines, something I'm prone to as it is?

Unless I'm missing something in you post and you're not really referring to lightbulbs.

4. Freepers are against an efficient lightbulb standard. Also, CFLs are out, LED bulbs are the future.

Prices falling but even at $20 and $40 they pay for selves over life of bulb.

8. I agree LEDS are the future.

In my opinion they are the most viable alternative to regular bulbs for the environment and users.

Mostly because they last for so long.
