Katherine Del Rosario fell from the roof of a friend's apartment building in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
A 19-year-old art student miraculously survived an accidental plunge off the roof of a five-story Brooklyn building Monday.
Katherine Del Rosario, a student at Pratt Institute, fell from the roof of a friend's apartment building on Lafayette Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant about 6:35 p.m., cops and witnesses said.
"She hit facedown," said a witness who declined to give his name. "She was still alive. I saw her moving."
Del Rosario and two friends had gone to the roof, where they shared a few beers, to escape the steamy apartment. She remained behind when her friends went to grab some takeout, then somehow fell, friends said.
"They weren't drinking a lot," said Channing Creager, 22, a roommate of one of Del Rosario's pals. "She wasn't drunk enough to fall."
Del Rosario landed in a vacant lot next-door, witnesses said. She was in stable condition at Kings County Hospital late Monday night.
