Cut the crap and create jobs
Cut the crap and create jobs
By Brent Budowsky - 07/08/11 09:36 AM ET

.........

The jobless rate is a scandal.

.................

The disastrous jobless numbers today will add to the political earthquake of a nation that demands jobs and is outraged by Washington power brokers who show no signs of caring, understanding or acting.

Shame on the president. Shame on the Republicans. Shame on the Democrats. Shame on the media. Shame on them all.

It is time to cut the crap, create the jobs and fight like hell for what Americans want: jobs.

5. None - the math doesn't work without the US exemption
Why do you think Japanese and Korean automakers move operations here to the USA rather then China ?

China charges a flat 25% VAT on top of property taxes and some excessive tariffs

USA charges 35% Corporate Taxes with a generous amount of Tax Deductions for an Effective Corp Tax Rate of 17%

3. Stop making trade deals, and then say, "This will create American jobs".
These trade deals were originally suppose to include environmental regulations and fair labor practices. i.e., AN EQUAL PLAYING FIELD.

What in the hell ever happened to that?!!!

7. Why USA's 2% Tariff to China's 20% on American made goods
and call that FAIR

Or Korea's 500,000 cars to USA 25,000 max cars entering Korea - is that FAIR

Or the 14 Day Life Expectancy of Union Organizers in Mexico

6. I'm ready for my tax dollars to fund the opening of GOVERNMENT
factories making things the corps won't make in the U.S. Hire the jobless and make solar panels, wind turbines, electric cars, led bulbs, etc. Pay a living wage. No high pay for CEOs. If the corps won't step up and help Americans then we must nationalize. Boo hoo about the free market. Atlas has shrugged and we need to kick his butt.
