Everyone I meet out here at work is a conservative anti-tax nut.

Seriously - whatever divisions are driving this kind of friction can be boiled down to one dichotomy: the difference between urban and rural America. It's no longer rich and poor, or black and white - the rural HATE the urban with a passion and I literally have no idea why. I think it's because they think that what they see on TV is real.

If it comes down to some kind of conflict in the US, that's where the battlelines will be drawn: between the urban and the rural.

also between those that haven't burned through any inheritance and those that are expecting one and won't be getting one because the price of dying has gone up.

it's between those that realize the powers that be couldn't care less about their worries and those that think they'll be one of the rich guys one day.

It's between those that actually think critically about what's going on and those that respond to buzz words.

we're in for a long slog and it don't look good for the home team.

7. Or, Ummm. I think they just don't like non-whites.

They never seemed so unhappy before, and they're getting an extension of tax cuts for crying out loud.
They cry, "Taxed Enough Already," well... since nobody is raising their taxes or taking away their guns or any other of their liberties, about the only logical conclusion I can come to is they are racists and are using this nutjobber movement as an excuse to make their feelings heard.
