Call the White House free and tell the President not to cave to the Republicans!
From email from the Coalition on Human Needs:

Call 1-888-245-0215 toll-free, and you'll be connected to the White House Comment Line. Call NOW and tell them:

"Please tell the President and the Vice President to hold firm and prevent harmful cuts or caps to low-income programs in the negotiations to reduce the deficit. Please insist on fair increases in revenues to prevent reckless cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps, and other essential services.”

Major national organizations are also urging decision-makers to protect low-income people in deficit reduction plans. This morning a letter was circulated from organizations including United Way Worldwide, National Council of La Raza, Feeding America, Sojourners, Families USA and many more, including the Coalition on Human Needs.

2. The more "liberal" constituencies that negotiations can sell out at once, the more eager the WH...
look at the speed/eagerness with which the "public option" was sold out (not to mention the initial bargaining point of selling out Single Payer)...

The more signatures on this petition, the easier it will be for the WH to decide that they can trade exactly what their constituents are pleading with them NOT to trade... in exchange for crumbs.

I don't even have the HOPE required to stake a tiny contribution toward carpal tunnel on signing or typing a message to this White House...

5. I heard on three News Reports, including CNN and Fox
they have already caved. The tax cuts for Rich stay in
place. We will not touch them.

That money given the rich in taxcuts by GWB stays in place
for the rich. The cuts have to come from somewhere else.
Guess where.

7. I would believe it more if it were another news source.

CNN? FOX?

Then again, the administration did give in to the Republicans last time on the tax issue.
