Where is the media pressure for Prosser to resign!
Folks... this is way over the top from what Anthony Weiner did... in fact, I think that criminal assault charges are in order.

And a violent attack within a courthouse I think is an additional charge.

No more! Time to get off the couch and demand resignation!

Call every news outlet, and DEMAND it. Write to your local newspaper! Demand a resignation... demand it now!

1. Oh wait - the judicial equivalent of the minority leader has to call for his head first.
Then everyone else will fall in line.

3. I expect that Prosser will resign in the end.
I look to this to go in more or less the same trajectory as Weiner's demise. First denial and obfuscation, but in the end resignation.

How much did you hear about Bill Belk on the national media. Even so, he is no longer a judge.

8. Now that I dig a little deeper, you're probably right.
I'm thinking that the official action will be "public reprimand".

20. if he gets away with it, it will be mostly due to the other justices
including Bradley sweeping it under the rug for the supposed good of the court and the profession. Just like they did with his previous ethical violation.

18. that's what I'm hoping
And I'm also hoping that he's brought up on assault charges because if he did do this then he should be in prison.

10. The problem is Walker will appoint someone worse
and younger if and when Prosser resigns. Unless, there would be another election??? Anyone know how this works?

13. He is a republican and not a Democrat, so they will probably do it in a few weeks
when most of the media storm has blown over and there is not many people paying attention to the story anymore.

21. that's the DA's job, not the victim
The victim can only file a complaint, the complaint is investigated, and depending on the results of the investigation the DA decides whether or not to file charges. As far as I know, the police were at least called in, but I still don't know whether or not Bradley filed a complaint.

17. He's denying it took place
And we still don't know whether or not it did. Personally, I absolutely believe that he did it, but I'm not going to call for his resignation or insist anyone else does without anything more than that. I don't think it's appropriate to call for a resignation when nothing is known other than the fact that there was an accusation, he's denying it, and the incident is in the process of an investigation.

Of course this is way beyond what Weiner did... no comparison at all. But in Weiner's case there was a boatload of evidence in order to justify calling for his resignation along with his finally admitting it. Why not wait for some evidence and witness statements first at least? That would be the appropriate thing to do otherwise you justify any call for a resignation of anyone else merely accused of a crime.
