8. An internet poll with 489 respondents of out 300+ million. . .
over 19 million in New York alone, to which the poll is not restricted. Kind of hard to get worked up at all about this, especially as the last poll I saw on this was 33-29 in favor with the Governor concurring.

14. Question...
What is the ultimate goal in DU'ing a poll?

Do these (perhaps hundreds of) internet polls all get gathered up and sent to every politician in the country?

What's the point?

Members of Congress will vote how they see fit no matter what the polls say. Especially since they know the polls are not scientific and subject to being skewed one way or another.

feel less hopeless about their neighbors. Nothing more.

12. One of the stupidest things about Americans is that they think civil rights should actually
be put to a vote.

And at least 40% of the population has the brains of a bag of dirt.

15. I'm surprised at the lack of yes votes.
I would imagined it to be higher in these times.
