6. It's obvious that someone was anticipating victory...
Edited on Sat Jun-25-11 11:25 AM by Flubadubya
From all the pictures on this thread (and the one of the Empre State Building, of course) it's for sure that the outcome was expected and I'm so glad that we were not disappointed. :)

Someone went to a lot of trouble and expense to enhance the celebration of this victory for human rights. Gotta love it!

7. Niagara Falls has been lit up at night for years and years - it's just a
nice coincidence that the lights look like a rainbow!

8. Hey thanks, I didn't realize that.
So, they have always been lit up with multicolored lights like that, eh? Yeah, that really is a happy coincidence.

They don't light up the ESB with rainbow colors every night do they? :hi:

9. The ESB is often lit with seasonally-appropriate colors.
(But I suspect you knew that.)

But did you know that they shut off Niagara Falls at
night?

Well, not exactly "off", but if you're watching when
the flow changes in the morning, it's very obvious
and somewhat amazing!

10. That is really fascinating about the falls...
and it certainly makes sense, of course. Thanks for the interesting factoid! :)
