Who did you choose? Lawrence O (MSNBC) or Keith O (CurrenTV)?
I hate that they're up against each other for both the 8 and 11 o'clock hours. I like Keith, but I don't feel right turning my back on Lawrence O. His show is really good now. All throughout the show, however, there were ads for Keith O's show.

50. And KO repeats several times.
That's when I usually manage to catch him - and Rachel. :hi:

I missed his first show, so I stayed up and watched one of the repeats, at 7 o'clock in the morning... :hangover:

I like both, but have been going with Keith since he's back on. Also, after learning that Beady-Eyed Joe was given veto power over Keith's guest lists, I'm kinda pissed at MSNBC.

9. Keith.
We go back later and catch up with Lawrence and the others - if we feel like it. We record it. Lawrence repeats. I'd rather watch Keith first. Usually if we have to choose (mainly because it's getting late in the evening) we go with Rachel Maddow as "must-watch."

There had been many nights I didn't any cable news without him on.Now Countdown again Is must see TV.If there Is night there Is actully something decent on Network I will watch an encore of COuntdown. But considering all the reality crap, and endless Procual
shows(CSI,NCIS,Law and Order, and their similar shows) that doesn't happen much.

I will be watching COuntdown's covergae of the President's speach tonight.I will largely turn back to MSNBC after Countdown Is done
for Rachel. But the best thing for us all would be when Rachel and Lawrence's contracts are up they join Keith on Current.

Hearing about how MSNBC let's Scarbeough dictate who can be on the shows Is real Enlightment.Plus on COuntdown now we don't have to worry about having to listen to Buchanan and Michael Steele as Anaylists.Funny how Democrats are never hired as analyists.

46. I watched Keith Olbermann because I want his ratings to zoom
straight up. Don't get me wrong, I have admired Lawrence O'Donnell for a long time. All of the positive things people say about him in this thread are true. But he too had a misfire incident and was banned from appearing on cable for a long time. I was depressed about this. Eventually, McLaughlin opened the door and let him back in. But I have watched the man in action for a long time, and I can tell you this: he is on restraints. The unencumbered Lawrence O'Donnell is a person in a category not currently depicted on MSNBC. This is a careful Lawrence O'Donnell.

So when answering the question whose profits do I want to promote: on the right hand, we have COMCAST (I despise this Corporation); on the left-hand, I personally see Al Gore. I cannot thank Al Gore enough for the contributions he has made to this society, and I do know Current is a joint venture, but really, it is a no-contest as to who I want to get the ratings -- Current TV.

And yes, it would be great if Lawrence joined Current as well as Rachel. I don't know if they are as big a risk-taker as that would require, but it would make Current a lot closer to perfect in line-up. Without them, it is still a contest.

Keith Olbermann himself waded into territory I have seen no other commentator take on. He is a man of huge personal integrity and self-sacrifice. We need people in this vein, and the only way we will get them is to support the unshackling of Opinion Commentary and the Real News.

With all that said, I did turn on Lawrence at 11:00. Tonight at 8, I will watch Keith Olbermann (and I can't wait).

Sam

49. Keith O for me.
He's the best in the business, in my opinion.
His timing is superb. Notice how he paces himself. He gets twice the information into his program than any of his competitors. Now, consider David Gregory ... Diane Sawyer ... Katie Couric ... I can't remember anything memorable by any of them.
