Murphys and Smithwicks are quality but Guinness (in Ireland) is on another planet- The silky smooth full body goodness sliding down your throat in a whisper. I have not had a true pint of beer since May bank holiday in the Shannon airport 2006. I can still taste it but just barely.

The Guinness Storehouse was packed this Easter Saturday. Lovely day.

We were there for my daughter's dance competition.

Sunday morning I walked out early onto O'Connell Street. The military was there preparing for the Easter Rising commemmoration ceremony. A bit unsettling to see guys with machine guns on the street corners. Not used to that here yet.
