Looks like The Quitter is quitting again.Bus Tour grinds to a halt.

Less than a month after she appeared poised to shake up the Republican presidential campaign, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has once again receded from the 2012 limelight.

Though Palin and her staff never announced a timeline for the remaining legs of her trip, aides had drafted preliminary itineraries that would have taken her through the Midwest and Southeast at some point this month. But those travel blueprints are now in limbo, RCP has learned, as Palin and her family have reverted to the friendly confines of summertime Alaska, where the skies are currently alight for over 19 hours a day and the Bristol Bay salmon fishing season is nearing its peak.

As Palin enjoys her sojourn to the 49th state, she has not reconnected with key early-state figures like Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and she may have jeopardized whatever political momentum she gained from her recent reemergence in the 2012 discussion. Her political action committee's website still greets visitors with a stale banner, announcing the nationwide bus tour beginning "his Sunday, May 29th."

More than a few of Palin's core supporters have grown impatient and confused about her strategy, venting their frustration on Internet fan sites.

2. Michelle Bachman took her narrow little niche in the primary field and Palin is
yesterday's news. Bachman is a nutcase, but she is smarter than Palin and more reliable (she still holds a job, for example). Sarah is probably home nursing her hurt feelings that she is no longer the Tea Party darling.

Of course attributing any kind of thought process to describe Palin's decisions usually winds up being fruitless. More likely she got into a squabble with someone in her group.

8. Well, she DID pave the way for an early quit...
...by complaining about the price of gas and how it might 'force' them to shorten their itinerary...

You do realize that I'm paraphrasing here, using the word 'itinerary'...

10. For an article from a site called "real clear politics", you'd think there'd at least be something
clearly definitive about that article yet there really isn't.

It's just more tabloid style where is sarah palin now and what is she doing this very minute.

11. " core supporters have grown impatient and confused about her strategy"
Allow me to clarify her "strategy" for them:

Mooseburger's strategy is to Trademark her name and live off the royalties. She doesn't give a rat's ass about her supporters, as long as they buy crap with her name on it.

25. LOL, that says it all, doesn't it?
This was clearly no vacation-- just a lap in front of the cameras to raise money and keep her face in the media.

She can't take the heat. I can't believe Bristol even thought of moving to Arizona. I live in S. Texas and it hasn't ever been this hot before. We are setting records. Finally had some rain.

They are probably assembling their prayer warriors to combat 'evil' witches who celebrate the cycles of life against the will of the Thundering Jealous Skydaddy.
