The nuclear industry is NOT lobbying federal inspectors to approve the use of chewing gum, baling wire and duct tape. They're lobbying an eager-to-please nuclear regulatory agency to approve the use of chewing gum, baling wire OR duct tape. Big difference, and the cost savings can be passed along to the consumer.
