Interesting: " The worst Texas drought since record-keeping began 116 years ago
may crimp an oil and natural gas drilling boom as government officials ration water supplies crucial to energy exploration. In the hardest hit areas, water management districts are warning residents and businesses to curtail usage from rivers, lakes and aquifers."

It is not often that we think about drought and oil/gas drilling in the same context.
Or the idea that drought can affect availability/prices of oil/gas in the near future.

1. Karma? Since excessive oil/gas use caused the climate shift that exacerbated the drought?

3. Satan is ravaging Texas!
Because we know God loves Texas, and since there's no such thing as global climate change, that leaves just one alternative. Why isn't the Governor out there praying? The state needs some real help.

4. Wasn't there a time when it was not necessary to take water from public
drinking sources such and rivers, lakes, and aquifers in order to produce natural gas and oil?

Wonder what has changed...?
