2. I don't care about ethics. I care about his illegal, undeclared receipt of gifts.

3. I agree. His falsification of disclosure forms going back 22 years
would be enough to get most people a prison sentence. Forget impeachment and all the handwringing, just arrest his lying self. He can't issue opinions on cases from a prison cell. Unless he has been given special compensation. And that would be a horse of a different color.

4. Indeed, Sir: That Is A Felony
Multiple felonies, actually, as each signing of a false statement filed is a separate crime.

5. I wonder will Dana Bash and her colleagues pursue
Thomas and his wife as diligently as they pursued Weiner to get statements from them.

At least the NYT published it but I wonder how long before the get the order to stop talking about Thomas?

6. This strikes me as even more significant:
"In another potential conflict of interest, Thomas and Justice Antonin Scalia attended a political retreat run by the Koch brothers; their subsequent ruling in the Citizens United campaign finance case greatly benefited the Koch brothers' political activities. The advocacy group Common Cause has asked the Justice Department to open an investigation into the propriety of the justices' participation in the case."
