The Clarence Thomas' financial disclosure forms have failed to report her income since 1989. 20 years of disclosure evasion ought to get the maximum, right? Prosecute him like any other citizen who commits fraud against the federal government. He can't vote if he is physically in jail for 5 years. Or is he getting special compensation? He filed amended forms in January of this year, and yet we hear nothing?

edited to correct to disclosure forms

2. Meh...
Rangel is still in office and Geithner is still running the Treasury, plus do you really think they are going to go after a SCJ in an election season? It's political suicide.

5. Just my opinion
but am I wrong? If we have a member of congress (regardless of party affiliation) and the head of the Treasury department who have both either been delinquent with tax payments or have failed to report income, what makes you think a SCJ is going to loose his seat over the same issue.

Besides, do you really think the Obama administration wants this headache going into an election cycle. The right will have a field day with it. Obama needs to focus on the economy, period.

7. that would be "lose" his seat. "Lose" = verb, "Loose" = adjective

3. Misleading OP
it has nothing to do with tax evasion - the article is not talking about IRS income tax forms.

6. That was my recollection too!
I believe he failed to list his wife's income on a financial disclosure form of some sort, but his IRS forms were in order.
