It took a week, I'm back

I was very low after being screwed by my unions Executive Board out of the Vice President position. :-( It is a week tomorrow morning since I got the news. I'm getting over it. Some friends advised me to look over the rules. Got um! I have to wait three months, but I believe I will become the new VP after that. :-)

This was the first time I ever spent this much time away from the DU. I'm back. :-)

3. They have to build a temp 8-10 foot levee around 1/2 my plant

Half my plant was built outside the levee system. Trusted the dams to much. The Mighty Mo might not drop below flood stage until December. It is a couple feet over now with 3 more feet on the way. They opened the Gavin's Point damn to record release this morning.

4. my wife was " elected " the secretary -treasurer again because

no one ran against her. in fact no one ran against anyone . saved the union a lot of money by not holding an election and tipped the "office politics" to the democrats. i kept telling my wife that she needed e-board members that were democrats.she finally got them.

they are the toughest, most patient and most humble servants of all. They go in it for the long haul and don't lose sight of the big picture.

C'mon - you know you want to. "The Honorable Omaha Steve", "The Distinguished Gentleman from Omaha." Plus the pay is OK and I hear the health plan is pretty good.

Bellevue is now lumped in with Lincoln, to help get Dems out a Terry's district.
