I would switch channels back and forth between WTAI and Dark Shadows as there was no Tivo in the Dark Ages. :)

And I remember them, though Peter Noone was my favorite back then. ;) But Dark Shadows was probably my favorite show of all time! I used to race home from school to see it! :D My friend had the series on tape, years ago, and let me borrow it. I couldn't believe how unreal the sets looked, didn't seem so at the time... But I still stayed up all night, had to watch just one more episode... The shift between centuries, and the different characters that the actors played (except for Barnabas, of course...), was confusing as hell, but I could follow it was a kid. I wanted to be Angelique... :loveya: :rofl: :hi:

No, I did not know that they were making a film. But it won't be the same. I'm wondering, with today's sensibilities, if it might be more gory. Though the audience then was a lot of kids, which we aren't anymore. And you did get attached to the characters. Since all of the actors played so many different ones, LOL, you felt a familiarity with them... :)

Several years ago, I was given a Dark Shadows book, which I poured over. It's by Kathryn Leigh Scott who played Maggie/Josette, who owns a company called Pomegranate Press. I loved all the pictures, brought me back... :loveya: :hi:
