What surprises me about the repuke debate tonight is that nobody points out that
corporations are not spending the huge wad of cash they are sitting on. All the candidates talk about reducing regulations and taxes to help input money into the economy...none of them point out what is actually happening, that none of the tax cut money is going into the american economy. They are all bought and paid for. None of them are talking about reality. They are saying what they have to to not get neutralized. They are not talking to the huge group of Americans who are really hurting. Ass*****. Hopefully this 'talk' will not resonate with any americans.

4. Three problems
1) Companies in general may be holding a lot of cash, but when you drill down, a vast majority of that cash is sitting around on the books of bailed-out banks.

2) Companies also have record debts, so having lots of cash on hand doesn't mean that companies are in good financial shape, the kind of shape they need to be in to make productive future investments

3) In this lawless economic environment where entire industries can be shut down overnight and without any accountability, who in their right mind would invest in anything... except in the buying of political influence? We've devolved into a banana republic, where you can't do business if you're not "in" with the people in power.
