7. Thom Hartmann did a good show today about
garment workers treated like slaves in Jordan and compared it to the way things were before the Triangle fire in New York almost a hundred years ago in that garment factory. He said the conditions were the same where there were no taxes and regulations either back then that contributed to the conditions the women, mostly immigrants, were working in. I believe they want those days back. Let's go back to what things were like in the nineteenth century for the underclasses like Dickens wrote about.
