But with justice and compassion, we can make the world a bit better, and I am due beer and travel money and many experiences.

And that is not becuase of thinking about 'being good' but becuase there are people that need help, and there are better systems that can help them.

Not worried if it is 'good or bad' but it is what seems the right thing to do after much thought and feeling. Is it good, is it bad, how would I know, but it does make sense and feels like the right thing to do. Help people that are in hardship by better systems, and sending the beer and travel money that is due to me.

(almost) the inception of DU. I am saddened by the lack of manners, civil discourse, and agreeing to disagree.

10. I thought the article was very good

unfortunately we are a complacent society, easily distracted by shiny things and easily manipulated. I'm to the point now where I don't see information like this doing any large-scale good. People don't want to see; or seeing, don't accept; or accepting, do nothing.

I apologize if I offended you in any way earlier. I didn't intend to, I'm just bitter and cynical this week. It wasn't aimed at you and probably shouldn't have been said at all.
