Pelosi is powerful and she is making it very difficult for him to stay. He's going to need some real toughness to stick around after she calls for his departure. It's probably 90% that he's gone, but he's stubborn and that's why people like him.

Weiner disappointed me seriously. He's not my congressman, though. I suppose he'll decided what to do, based on whatever criteria he thinks important. His influence in the House, however, is mortally diminished, so it probably doesn't matter all that much.

Too bad. He seemed like a stand-up guy.
