3. I regret that I only got to stop at the airport in Japan
Nothing I could do about that as I was on my way to stop the commies from coming to the usa. bolded part :sarcasm: as I feel what we were doing in Vietnam was wrong and felt that way from a few days in. Again nothing I could do about it though

6. I stopped over at Okinawa coming & going to Vietnam
and spent 5 days R&R in Tokyo. It was wonderful to feel cool weather (October), wear a sweater, have a room all to myself, and have a nice, long soak in a bathtub. Plus there were a lot of FUN things to do in Tokyo.

11. I went to Bangkok
Had a great time too. When I went on R&R not many places to chose from.
