Freedomworks: Tea Party May STAY HOME if Romney NOMINATED

" If Mitt Romney wins the Republican nomination for president, Tea Party activists may not show up at all to vote in the general election, one leading group associated with the Tea Party movement is warning.

“I think that’s a potential problem,” said Matt Kibbe, FreedomWorks’ president, during a wide-ranging interview with reporters at The Daily Caller. He also warned that if Republicans nominate another “John McCain,” activists might even vote third party in 2012. “I believe in redemption, but at some point, you sort of give up,” he said. “And we’ve given up on Mitt Romney.”

Tea Party-types have expressed their distaste for Romney, who they say heralded a health-care law in his home state of Massachusetts very similar to the one pushed by President Obama. Joe Miller, a former U.S. Senate candidate in Alaska, is now running a “Stop Romney” campaign, for example. Adam Brandon, another staffer at FreedomWorks, said he also worries that if voters don’t show up to vote because of Romney, it could hurt other candidates down the ticket that they like.

12. Manson is a lunatic, of course they'd vote for him.
Romney's too "intellectual" for their tastes.

11. I dunno, a lot of teabaggers absolutely hate Romney
For the teabaggers, he's got 3 huge strikes against him:

1. "Romney-care"
2. He recently admitted he thinks man-made climate change is real
3. He's a Mormon

A lot of teabaggers I've heard believe that he's a "RINO", not much better than Obama in their eyes. I do think a lot of them would either stay at home or vote third-party for a Tea Party candidate.

2. We should start one of those Limbaugh style campaigns
operation whateverhecalledit, to try to get Mittens nominated. Change our registration for a few months, vote in their primaries, and watch their heads explode.

4. Now thats thinking like a true republican, not that I'm saying YOU are. It always seems our
methods of strategy borderlines actually getting permission from the repukes to ask if its alright with them. What the hell are we afraid of? Them?...They are nothing but hate-mongering bullies. A party of morons who are bred to be clever, loud-barking small dogs who believe thats its the duty of others, not them, who are bred to shoulder all the heavy lifting & fighting while spilling their blood as these barking-turds sit comfortably under a shade wrapping themselves around the residual Glory, Honor & Accolades and claiming it as their own.

8. From what I have read the people in MA like the healthcare plain 54% approval. It
getting better all the time. I don't understand why reporters don't go and ask the people how they like it.

10. Freedom Works may be bloviating. Armey Group. DC sponsored
not Grassroot.

Judson Phillips on one of the shows: We have not
made up our mind. We want to see and hear all the
candidates. He even said, they are not committed
to anyone right now.

Another Tea Party Leader (Female) said if Romney is
able to win the Primary, we want to replace Obama.
We will get behind Romney.
