Some of the tweets also have a reference to needing to find a sidekick.

The relevance, if there is any, is the fact that you can't find Weiner using this reference in any public forum but he has used it in other private tweets, lending credibility to the idea that the teen had been tweeted by Weiner.

Weiner's other instances of adult conversation and obfuscation don't help him at all now. He has left himself unable to deny any semi-plausable allegations. The most tenuous clues of proof will now grow like weeds.

The snip that you posted does not quote Weiner. It's a post from someone else, who says they are quoting him.

The link may have had more info, and perhaps "quoting" on Tumblr (about which I know nothing) means something different, like sharing a link to an actual quote or post of his.

But from what little I can see of the article, it's presently only hearsay.
