Of course the Republicans, led by the always repulsive State Senator John McKinney (R-Legacy) opposed the bill.

7. If the police unions thought that they were doing a good job of
dealing with the public, in a lawful manner, they would welcome the corroboration from the public.

It's just like putting INTERNET cameras inside classrooms. If I were a teacher (still), I would be pleased for the parents to see what we are doing everyday to educate their children.

Have you noticed that the police are very enthusiastic of putting
surveillance cameras all over town but don't their work to be scrutinized. Why is that? (As though we don't' already know the answer to that.)

4. Conn. seems to be leading the way right now.
They seem to be moving in a liberal direction just as most states (like Ohio, my state) are becoming right-wing mini-dictatorships. Any jobs there??

8. With a president who hates whistleblowers more than anyone else, it won't be anytime soon.

11. We are not getting the leadership from the President that we
desperately need. Most unfortunate. The sequence of 1st G.W.Bush followed by Obama has been destructive for Americans.
