Dear Mr. Breitbart
So you want an apology? FOR WHAT? For not lying so much this time?

Fuck you.

Before you get any kind of apology, you need to do some apologizing yourself.

You need to apologize to Shirley Sherrod.

You need to apologize to the employees of ACORN and the scores of people who may not get to exercise their constitutional right to vote.

You need to apologize to all that you have hurt through your lies and manipulation of facts.

As soon as you apologize to all of them, then an apology might be forthcoming from us.

Until then, don't hold your breath.

See you in hell,

Cheap_Trick

p.s. On second thought, go ahead and hold your breath. I'll revive you when you pass out.

Honest.

1. My thoughts exactly
Now that we've spent two weeks on Breitbart's latest obsession, other men's anoatomy and sexual activities (I guess he doesn't engage in much of that, and it's not hard to understand why), I think we ought to be focusing on Breitbart's racist operation and who is funding it.

This operation is working to destroy this country. Their goal is to destroy all liberals, completely.

They will lie, cheat, completely destroy lives of people not even their targets, to accomplish those goals.

This is a real threat to this democracy. They cannot win on issues so they resort to these tactics.

I think he has finally crossed the line Starr crossed with Clinton, and Weiner, if he chooses, can now stay in office.

I hope Dems do not do what they usually do, cave in to Breitbart who has managed to get so many good Dems fired by this administration.

TAKE A STAND for once, Dems. Go after this miserable, little weasel.

2. There is never any reason to apologize to Breitbart.

3. I want to know when
it became Breitbart's right and our business to know about the private, personal, legal sex habits of anyone outside our own bedroom. What he does is akin to blackmail.

You are so right. No apology. Maybe some jail time. Blackmail is illegal.

4. It's not "akin." It IS blackmail.
Basically, resign and I won't release the photo. You didn't resign? Here it is. Did I mention there's a worse one?

But what it really is is assassination. No bullets. No corpse. The cell phone is a much more efficient killer of effective liberal voices, it seems.

6. I can't tell you how many times
I've thought about screaming BLACKMAIL about this whole affair but thought better of it. I do consider it blackmail and don't understand why that is not the conversation, at least here on DU. The scumbag is holding a photo over Weiner's head - has announced it on national television - and no one says anything about him except what a great guy he is for doing the decent thing? Oh, wait. Breitbart said that about himself, IIRC. I damn near chocked when I heard him saying it. Like he's got a conscience or something. The only reason he hasn't released it (if it actually exists and is worse - with Breitbar and his penchant for stage shows and deceptions I have my doubts) is to blackmail.

There are no laws against sexting. I thought there were laws against blackmail. And somewhere along the line I got the idea that people were entitled to privacy.

7. Breitbart started a stampede of herd Democrats.
Now all the Republicans have to do is keep firing in the air (calling for resignation, calling his money "dirty") and we will trample ourselves to death.
