Wiener tweets his own johnson...
and then says he will not resign because he hasn't done anything wrong, violated any rules, etc. Okayyyy I'm going to have to go with him on this. He shouldn't resign just because he's a johnson tweeter.

Let me explain... I have absolutely no problem with johnson tweeters. Any responsible adult should be able to tweet as many johnsons as they want, given of course that there is mutual consent between the person connected to the johnson and the tweeter. Johnson tweeting isn't in and of itself inherently bad, or wrong. A man may tweet a thousand johnsons, and not be excluded from membership in the Good Person's Club, again, given that there is mutual consent. A person should also be free to tweet johnsons anywhere they please. They should be able to tweet johnsons on street corners, in alleys, in the back seats of cars, or generally wherever they want. I would only add that, if a man is married and feels the urge to tweet johnsons, he should talk about it with his wife before he tweets the first one and possibly gets caught up in a vicious circle of johnson tweeting from which he cannot extract himself. It's not such a good thing to have your wife find out you're a johnson tweeter after the fact.

Okay so here is my problem: After tweeting his own johnson an untold number of times, Wiener summoned the press to his office and openly and brazenly lied about it. He should know that lying about johnson tweeting makes life hard for johnson tweeters everywhere. How does one admit proudly that they are a johnson tweeter when one of the most famous johnson tweeters of all openly denies his johnson tweeting? That's just wrong.

So I'm going to say that Wiener should resign because he's a lying johnson tweeter. That I cannot and will not abide. There is no place for lying johnson tweeters in my party or my government.

I say - Mr. Wiener, you should be cast upon the trash heap of history, you lying johnson tweeter, lest your johnson tweeting become an issue that sucks the air out of the important message the Democratic Party and Obama Administration is trying to get the American Public to understand. Resign, Mr. Wiener, and tweet johnsons to your hearts content. Tweeting johnsons and then lying about it hurts the cause.

Posted with apologies to johnson tweeters everywhere.

1. I'm very sorry to see a progressive in such a pickle,
but, IMHO, the Weiner has to go.

2. I thought such incredible stupidity was nearly exclusive to the repubs.
This story will not go away until after Wiener is cast aside by the party. It will continue to suck the air out of the message.

3. I agree. I think he should have drained the cyst on the first day.
And it might be healed by now. But now the infection's raging through his system, and I don't see how he's going to recover.

8. Unlike you, I guess I have a problem with lying and non-lying johnson
tweeters. And I never, ever, thought I was a judgmental prude until today.

Guess I just don't want a narcissistic sexual dysfunctional leading our party.
(Cyber-exhibitionists are narcissists seeking validation where (on the internet)
there are unknown people who offer unconditional acceptance (totally unlike sending
a nude pic to a known person - i.e girlfriend/boyfriend)). And he couldn't stop -
despite being newly married. Despite being a US Rep./supposed role model. Despite being married
to a most prominent public figure. Duh.

And what's weird is that I would have been defending him - if he
admitted to a simple private affair (I know, hypocritical).

To me, he's nothing more than a commoner trench coat flasher.

don't care if it's a D or an R. Walk away AW
