Poll question: Reality check on Weiner. When will he resign?
He's damaged goods and the party is probably lining up his replacement. Right or wrong, this has to be in the triangulation. How long do you give him?

17. It's more than whether he broke laws
the party will see it as the negatives that he now brings. Lies, poor judgment, etc. They will need somebody who is electable.

When the opposing party still has David fucking Vitter in the Senate, they have no right to stand on any moral ground.

13. I don't see why he should resign.
He didn't lie under oath. He didn't break the law. This isn't even a sex scandal. It was a momentary act of stupidity. If the Govt was a corporation and Weiner was a Union worker under the same circumstances we would find this absurd calling for his resignation. How far should the public really encroach into our personal lives? Republicans would love to be in our bedrooms. He apologized now lets move on.

23. Seriously, its a personal issue. The only thing that should happen is:
Some marital therapy with his wife. Lets not forget all he did was basically flirt on the internet. Since when have any of us NOT done that?

Personally I think it would be ridiculous. The only one who might kick him to the curb is his wife.

20. Where is this country's sense of humor?
Are we a bunch of ten year olds? If I do something embarrassing and get caught and questioned you better believe I'll give denying it a shot.
Then, if it won't go away, you have to fess up and get jeered at by the competition. Big deal.

Is this 21 year old especially immature so that she is just a girl? You make her sound like a bimbo or a baby.

(sorry. :eyes:) i hope he does not resign. who else will do what he does now that grayson is gone?

as a woman, i find his actions deplorable. i will never understand why men get so stoopid about sex. i guess we wouldn't procreate without boneheaded, sex-obsessed men and the species would not survive without the smart women who keep it all together.

i don't see nancy dumping weiner. other than her, he's got the only other set in the minority party. too bad he had to go all exhibitionist on us.
