Winners and losers for the week; Winners. 1, MSNBC's prime-time lineup. These hosts are certainly doing a fantastic job at keeping everyone informed on the right wing crap being perpetrated by these morons who insist on running this country into the ground. Chris, Cenk, Lawrence, Rachel and Ed are extremely good at what they do, and hopefully all of them will be around for a while longer. Great counterbalance to Fox, and the right wing smear merchants and liars.
2, Barack Obama. Despite the slime machine running on all cylinders, Obama goes steadily on. His poll numbers are remaining pretty constant, in the low 50's, while the Republicans continue to shoot themselves in the foot just trying to figure out their next moves. You have to laugh at the Republicans and their sorry ass attempt to take down Obama and failing everytime.
Losers; 1, Sarah Palin; This woman continues to be the butt of all jokes. Her so-called bus tour just can't seem to get out of its own way, while the media fawns all over her like she's the second coming of Ronald Reagan. Gotta give her credit though, she is the Democrats best friend these days. Keep on going Sarah. You're giving your party plenty of nightmares.
2, Mitt Romney; Here is a guy with a problem. He was all set to make his big announcement about running for president, and lo and behold, he was upstaged by Rudy Giuliani and Sister Sarah herself. If that wasn't bad enough, the man is hated by the crazies of the right wing, who will do everything in their power to see this man does not get the GOP nomination. Mitt might have name recognition, and might be leading in the polls, but once the slime machine gets turned on, he'll be a rudderless ship floundering in the ocean.
3, John Edwards; It pains me to do this, but I have lost a ton of respect I had for this man. First, cheating on his wife with Rielle Hunter, then having a child with her, and trying to cover both up. Now, he's been indicted on those charges and faces five years in jail if convicted. At one time I thought Edwards was presidential material, and probably would have backed him, but now he's turned into a sad figure because of his lies.
4, Bill O'Reilly; This guy has no shame!!! He went on his show on Wednesday, and basically convicted Anthony Weiner of this Andrew Brietbart led conspiracy. Apparently, O'Reilly doesn't believe the line "He who is without sin, cast the first stone". O'Reilly should be the last person talking about this seeing his own sexual perversion is quite well known. Anyone for loofahs and falafel??
