2. Other: We don't know and we never will until the last shoe drops
Maybe we are improving - maybe not.

All parts of our economy have been shifted to corporate board rooms and are off limits to everyone but the company.

Even stockholder's meetings are a dog and pony show.

What is scary is not whether our economy is bad or not, but that we will never really know the truth.

The economy will be just fine (for the rich)

9. Quite frankly I would not
pull this shit on a heavily armed population. What are they thinking? That this is 1788 France?

10. They see a population that is pacified by the media
Televisions in every room, computers in our laps, Tweets, texting and Playstation too.

11. Bad enough to
seriously consider going somewhere else in search of a better life.

Bad enough to hope for the worst if that is what is required to finally fix it.

13. I believe the Republicans in conjunction with...
businesses (not small businesses)are intentionally refusing to hire. I know for a fact that my small company had funds set aside for employee raises, but instead of giving raises to the employees, they sent the funds back (don't want to go into too much detail). They also made employees take needless early retirements, but bought certain technological equipment, and promoted friends/mistresses (very, very handsomely). I do think there are some companies that are in dire straits, but I do think quite a few of them are using the economy as an excuse to carry out different agendas.

15. It's a slow, fragile recovery that's fading a bit
I'd estimate a 30% chance of a double dip.
