4. The worst part was when the Corporatist O claimed that Chrysler paid back the bailout early
Edited on Fri Jun-03-11 12:43 PM by jpak
and that he will let Chrysler become a wholly privately owned company again in the very near future - faster than expected

disgusting

7. Yup disgusting :-)
I have to laugh at the idiots who were against this bailout, hell some of them still make excuses as to why it was a bad idea when in truth it was a damn good idea to help them survive so the folks who worked here could keep their jobs.

Are you trying to argue that socialism designed solely to benefit large corporations isn't corporatism?

ETA: it was Bush who initially bailed out Chrysler. Obama continued Bush's policies, but also required Chrysler to negotiate wage and benefit cuts for the workers as part of a restructuring plan.

and that anyone that opposed this policy was wrong

12. US sold remanding US stake to FIAT yesterday
US Treasury Department has reached an agreement to sell its remaining six percent of shares in Chrysler to Italy’s Fiat.

Fiat is paying 386 million euros and will then have a majority 52 percent stake of the US carmaker.
