4. Interesting that the Thomas hearings moved him

more into politics. Did the same thing for me but in the opposite direction. The hearings gave me a much needed kick in the pants about being Republican because that's what my family all were and had ever been. Much younger then and naive enough to think the Bush 2 would recall him once it was established that Thomas was such a liar. Silly me but that's where my head was at.
