DU Lawyers: Did either Breitbart or Wolfe break any laws
(assuming it can be shown that the Weiner thing was a fake)?

Also, are they vulnerable to any sort of civil action from Weiner?

5. I Haven't Been Following The Story Closely, But...........
..........I know that computer hacking is a big deal. That IS what Breitbart did, right? Hacked into Anthony Weiner's Facebook account or something? I just read an article a few weeks ago about a guy who was hacking into his ex-girlfriend's e-mail account, and he was facing A LOT of jail time. Electronic fraud is a big deal, and the legal system takes it seriously. So I would guess that he probably DID break a few laws. It could be considered electronic fraud, cyber stalking, possibly even identity theft. Then again, as I said, I'm not exactly sure what Breitbart did for sure because I really haven't been following it.

I would think that at the very least, he'd be able to be sued civilly for slander and/or libel.

9. I doubt Breitbart did the hack, but I'm sure he knows the identity of those who did.

He uses others like James O' Keefe to do the dirtiest part of his work for him.

7. So?

If you take a look at the convictions they were on the counts of 18 USC 1030 and obstruction of justice.

Quite obviously, there has been no obstruction as yet, since there is no federal investigation to obstruct.

On the 1030 count, there has been no access to stored communications or retrieval of any data. The theory is that the pic was sent blind to the yfrog email inbox assigned to Wiener. That doesn't fit any of the sections of 1030, and I cited the closest fit above. However there is no indication as yet that all of the elements are there.

8. Pretty sure bestiality is illegal in all 50 states. And there are reports that Breitbart is into

sheep and goats.
