MoveOn thinks we can win in Wisconsin.
"The recall elections in Wisconsin are just 40 days away. This is a huge chance to reverse the infamous anti-worker law that took away bargaining rights from teachers and other public workers. If progressives unseat just three of the six Republicans facing recall, Democrats will take back control of the state senate.

It was revealed yesterday that one of the Republicans being recalled said, "We've got tons of government workers in my district?tons...We've got to hope that they, kind of, are sleeping" on Election Day.1 We can't let that happen?together, we can make sure ALL the voters are awake."

2. Yes. Let's help to keep the voters awake, both in July, 2011, and Nov. 2012.

9. As In All Elections...Turn Out Matters
Its what caused this mess last year when too many Democrats stayed home. From my days above the Chedar curtain I feel a lesson's been learned...the hard way and every overstep by Wanker and his cabal just emboldens those who want to see the Senate flipped and this madness checked.

All that's needed is to win 3 seats out of the 6 recalls (all six would be delightful) and it's very doable, just will require getting out the vote. I'm concerned that the combination of the July date (when school is out of session and people are on vacation) and the new regressive voter ID laws will turn this election into a circus...but I've also seen firsthand the passion of many Wisconsites to getting rid of the teabaggers that some, if not all of these races may not be close at all. I'm optimistic but ready to go back if called to make sure people get to the polls...

10. This time you've also got to make sure that the Repubs. won't be able to open
and stuff the ballot bags, and any other dirty tricks they can think of. If possible,
never leave the ballot bags with the Rekpubs. alone -- not even overnight.

It would be nice if they can be locked in safes requiring two different keys to open,
one kept by the Dems. and the other by the Repubs. Somewhat like a bank-vault, it
will need two different keys to open.

11. There's An Abundance Of Poll Watchers...
Fortunately Waukesha County isn't one where a recall will be taking place (wish we could have taken down Grothman)...and the party and third parties are already alert to the games Wanker and his ilk may try to play. The unions will also be out in force to keep a close eye on things. The way to avoid having an election tampered with is a big turnout where the results can't be close or contested.

12. Does Wisconsin still use those electronic voting machines? If so,
they probably could switch Dem. votes into Repub. ones without anyone being the wiser.
I expect the Repubs. will go full out in Wisconsin, and in the whole country for Nov. 2012.
