Mephistophelian premise:
DU's gonna be a whole lot more interesting, entertaining, and unified than it has been for a long while...about 2 1/2 years. My guess is that fund drives will produce more dough for our worthy owners, and there will be some riotously funny threads.

However, on the down side, I don't think the descent into fascism is worth the fun...it's not a great bargain.

1. Dealing with Republicans in Power
is like Dealing with the Devil. It may seem like you get what you want in the short run (at least right wingers think they got what they wanted.) but you are damned for all time for the deal.
