Weiner ‘can’t say with certitude’ that lewd picture was not of him

In an interview with MSNBC Wednesday, Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) would neither confirm or deny that the lewd picture sent over Twitter was of him.

“I didn’t send that picture out,” Weiner told MSNBC’s Luke Russert.

“That’s not a picture of you?” Russert asked.

“You know, I can’t say with certitude,” Weiner admitted. “My system was hacked. Pictures can be manipulated. Pictures can be dropped in and inserted.”

first, if it were him, unmanipulated, there is no legal reason to do so.

and if it's been manipulated, how can he even know precisely how.

but to you, if Weiner doesn't perfectly explain even aspects that he doesn't know --he's spinning.

tell you what...when you have your character assassinated, and don't know precisely how to respond, we'll just all assume whatever they've said about you is true.

5. There is another possibility

and Weiner might not have known about it, it could be that a member of his staff was using his account and sent it out, although the evidence being presented on the blogs seems to prove the account was hacked.

If, however, it was a member of his staff, and he found out after his initial statements, with everyone blaming Breitbart, I could see why he would just want to drop it.

Just not sure why he has gone from being certain his account was hacked to the position he is now taking.

I am praying it was Breitbart and his gang of criminals. And I feel certain that Weiner did think his account was hacked initially.

He could have said something like the attorneys I'm working with told me not to comment.

Say something, anything... but to not answer that question leads to speculation from those who want to take him down.

Weiner has legal council involved in this now. How could he assert that an image was not one of himself if there is no way to identify the individual in the picture, and no way to know for certain that the image was not originally captured from your own laptop? I can't say with certitude that the image is not of ME.

He says that he never sent the image, and that, to me, is the relevant piece of information.
