Limbaugh is preaching on the righteousness of reading the Constitution..
..on the floor of the House. He is so passionate about it that one might think it was his idea?? Who knows? He provides counsel to the Republicans and slips in and out of town just before these big events. It sounds like a scam he would endorse?

1. I don't care if they read the damn thing but what bugs me is all they hear are words
They clearly haven't actually made any connection with those words and how they impact our country.

I mean where were these assholes with their constitution when the Patriot Act was being shoved thru congress?

5. It's pretty much the same with the Bible and Christians' buffet attitude toward it.
Look at it this way: this may be the first time that many of them have ever heard the entire Constitution.

3. I see a troupe of amatuer hams performing streetcorner political theater.
If they really are as committed as they claim, they should be able to recite it without reading the script. As it is, this is likely the first time many of them will hear the words. They may find surprise in what's in there.

7. Thom Hartmann says they should read
the Declaration of Independence too because it really lays out the principles this country was founded on. It might surprise them.
